TB bypass

Was wondering if anyone has this trottle body bypass on there car and how it works and what are the benefits of it. I saw if on Texasspeed shop andit was only 14.95 and wondering what it does for performance

I got mine from B&M for $15 shipped. I didn't really notice anything. I live in Cali and it gets hot as hell out here, I guess every little bit can't hurt

I did it. You won't notice jack squat. No need to buy the kit, you can get the things you need at the hardware store or the auto supply for about $5.

Stock setup runs coolant through the guts of the throttle body to keep it warm to prevent the buildup of frost/ice. Those of us in the warmer climate can realize a cooler intake charge by eliminating this.

I just bought a longer piece of hose for $5 and ran it straight from the radiator to the coolant line (bypassing the TB) on my 98 Z.

I just bought a 90 degree fitting that would fit, and some extra tubing. I got the 90 degree because otherwise it would run uncomfortably close to large pulley. To cap off the TB, I had some hangers lying around. I'm talking about the metal ones that you screw into a wall and you use them to hang up stuff. I cut off the rubber tips on them and zip tied them to the TB.
