tapping noise up front ? Lifters?

tapping noise up front ? Lifters?
I notices on my 02 Z28 it sounds as if their is a tapping noise coming from up front it sounds as if your runing solid lifters, and i just notices my mom new 2002 T/A makes the same noise. Any info on this ?
