tach problem

Hey guys i have a 01 ss m6 and was driving home today when i noticed that my tachometer was stuck at 0rpm but my car seamed to be running fine. i thought i felt a little power lost but i think was just being paronoid. when i got home i shut the car off then turned it back on, it miss fired and was having trouble starting so i shut it off then i turned it back on and it was fine. Anyone know what this might be?

Check your cam position sensor wiring or the sensor. Also check your grounds on the back of the head to see if any are loose.
