T56 rebuild

I am going to rebuild my t56. Well me and my GM tranny tech friend.
I bought a D&D syncro kit. 1,2 inner/ 1,2 outer/3,4,5,6 , reverse and pads. I also bought the 3-4 steel shift fork, input and output seal. Any other parts anyone would suggest? Gears and bearings are good. Clutch is new. I am working towards a NX wet kit and
4:10's I figured it was best to do the t56 first.

Hope you did the rear already...if not, you might wanna look into that. Stock 10 bolts are way too weak and I'll be getting rid of mine as soon as I start making the big bucks in a year or so.

$249.00 for the D&D kit
$49.00 for the D&D 3-4 steel fork
$ 50.00 for my friend while I look over his shoulder
I gotta pull the trans.

Hey thanks for the info. I'd be doing this myself so it'll just be the parts. The 2nd gear syncro is acting up and if I tear it down for that it's getting the rest of them too.

Worn syncro symptoms: Hard shift or cannot put shifter into gear; gears clash when shifting; tranny jumps out of gear; tranny locked in one gear.

Worn clutch/disc: Feels like the tranny went into neutral while your driving the car. The RPM's will rise much faster but the car doesn't accelerate. Might grip at lower RPM's fine, though.

Rebuilding the T56 takes some tools most don't have. Check here for the service manual.
