Air Bag light after accident
Air Bag light after accident
I have a 2000 SS that has been in a front end accident. It wasn't too bad because the airbags did not go off, but it did need a new hood, bumper, front support and windshield.
All the body work has been done, but the car's 'Air Bag' light comes on, and the Service Engine light comes on. I figure the service engine light could be anything so I'll have that checked out, but is there a way to reset or diagnose the Air Bag light??
Thanks, accidents suck

I work at a dealer. Cant just reset a SIR lite. Have to have someone check it out and see why its on becuase its on for a reason... more than likely a failed SDM or one of the sensors / wiring. More often than not we see SDM's go bad
