t tops

To all of the t top car owners that are developing squeaks and rattles: I put dielectric silicon grease on all the the weatherstripping on the t tops (like the manual suggests) and it made a remarkable difference in the car. It sounds like the car did when I first bought it. I used the actual product made by GM that is suggested in the owners manual, but you can pick up a tube at any parts store. A couple body shop guys even told me that they have used vasoline on the weatherstripping.
That will hold me over until I have time to get Subframe Connectors installed in the spring.

my car was just beginning to squeak, so it really wasnt that bad. The fact that it is cold now probably makes it more noticeable, but it really did quiet it down a lot. I was frustrated by the noise before, now it is tolerable.
