Question Suspension "Thump" Anyone?

I have a "thump" sound in the rear suspension that I am unable to isolate. It happens during low to mild acceleration from low speeds. Sometimes when I'm backing up. It doesn't happen everytime, in fact, I can't make it appear when I want to. It sometimes sounds like it comes from the front of the torque link where it mounts to the tranny. But most of the time it's coming from the rear suspension. The local dealer has looked at it twice. They where unable to duplicate it and say that everything checks out fine. If anybody has had any issues with this I would love to hear about it. Thanks

if it is when you slam the gas down or when you shift hard it is probably the tranny mount very commen and cheap to replace just jack up the car take off the 7 bolts and it is in your hands inspect it for tears i am willing to bet that is the problem.

I have the same problem. Its the torque arm making all the racket. I've inspected mine and it looks fine. But in Feb. i'm going to get the BMR Adjustable Torque Arm. No more problems after that.
