Clutch experts in here for simple question!

This is my first Camaro (traded my 01 Cobra for it) and everybody tells me that the clutchs are weaklins!!! Even with the stock power they can go out?! Anyway..........

I have been shopping clutches and was wondering, can I just by the clutch package or will I have to by a new master cylinder and slave?? example MCleod pkg for $1200 I don't plan on supercharging or spraying my car, just LT headers and pullies with my other mods.

But I do plan on installing a cam 1-2yrs down the road.

Oh, I am about to order some Nitto DR's if they make any difference in your opinion.

I've had my stock clutch for 47K miles with the mods listed, and it's starting to wear after about 6 launches and me learning to drive a stick on this car. Thunder Racing recommended to me to replace the slave with the Mcleoud adj. master cylinder; other places recommend to replace the slave and master cylinders with the GM slave and master. It looks like you should be ok not changing them. By the way, I'm by no means an expert!

the stock clutch is good enough for all the bolt ons but if you want alittle more grabbing power the z06 clutch and pp with the z06 slave is a great upgrade not sure how much power it will handle but i will say it could handle a street cam and heads.
