Super Sucker Ram Air/SSRA = Austin Ram Air/ARA

Hi, I'm the producer of the Super Sucker/SSRA. Last May I began the process of trademarking the name Super Sucker Ram Air. I did a search and couldn't find anyone else using the name. I submitted my application to the government. They couldn't find anyone else using the full name Super Sucker Ram Air. Unforetunately however there is a company called high velocity heads that has a carb spacer called the Super Sucker. Since both names are used with the aftermarket car industry, and air induction, the government said that the addition of "Ram Air" wasn't that different since I couldn't claim trademark status on "Ram Air".
So in light of this I will be changing the name to Austin Ram Air(ARA). I know it's not nearly as memorable, but oh well. This will be reflected on the various vendors websites such as Speed Specialty soon with my new logo.
Thanks
Al

It's going to be hard getting used to calling it the ARA. I have an ad coming out in the March04 issue(hits newstands in Jan04)GMHTP magazine with everything called by their old names. It was to late to change everything.

teke184 thanks.

awesome drew. Hows the new motor. You fried your old one bad.

Jason D can you make this a sticky?
