Post Suncoast creations SS Hood and Filter?

I cant seem to get the air filter lid to close properly on the SS style airbox that came with the hood. It is the exact same size filter that was in the oem box, yet ive seen that factory ss and factory Z 28 air filters have diff part no. (at least at holley they do) So did they snnd whe wrong filter , or is the aftermarket box designed to use Reg Z28 filter, or am iI just Ignant.

I have the suncoast ss style hood with the ram air box. The ram air box was an additional 300 dollars. It fits great. The size on the new filter is 16.5 x 10.5 inches. The stock filter is 16 x 8 inches. The new air box takes air from the top and has a seal the is glued to the hood so when the hood is closed you can only get air from the hood scoop. When mounting the new air box it needs to be mounted as far back (towards the motor) as possible so the hood can close.

If you have any more questions shoot me an e-mail.
