Suggestions on TSP RUMBLER X WITH LTS

Hi guys first off just wanna introduce myself and my car. Im brandon from NC and I have a 2002 Z28 a4 black on black with 69,000 miles.

Im sry in advance if this thread annoys anybody, Ive read alot of posts on it but found nothing that really answered my questions and thoughts!

Im getting ready to do my exhaust setup and I have about 800 to spend. I have friends with inspection shops so i can get away with not having cats.

My plan is to go with either TSP 1 7/8 LTS with egr system and the TSP Rumbler X True dual setup with x pipe OR Pacesetter Black LTs with egr system and the TSP Rumbler X true dual?

Is that a good setup or is this Y pipe gonna be easier and cheaper

I know what both sound like and i like the x pipe setup.

Im also going to lower the car with eibach spring kit. Will i have enough clearance with the x pip setup?

Or if you guys know another good route with 800 for the exhaust PLEASE help me out!~ THANKS ALOT EVERYBODY!

X-pipe is wayyyy nicer on the 4th Gens and makes more power and sounds alot cleaner.

I had the TSP Tru-Dual kit on my car with the Dynomax bullets -- my car was lowered with Eibachs as well.

Here's how it sounded.

BTW, enjoy your stay here

Cool.. Yea i love the way it sounds. Looks like i may make out with around $700 for it all. Will takethe money i save to add a vig 3200 3.73's and get it dyno tuned at my local shop that works on f bodies and vettes only!

Im hoping for 340's to the wheel! Any suggestions on next step after the above??

Any ideas on changes I will see with the vig 3200 and 3.73's.. Im sure it helps the roll on pulls adding the stall.. Would love to beast on some m6's! ahahahahah

BTW thanks for the response! I love the fleet of ls1's you've had! Too bad you sold them all! =(

Hahahaha

Thanks

Yeah, after that a tune will work nicely -- as far as more mods go, you're pretty much done with bolt-ons with an LS1 --- the only thing you need to do to them are an aftermarket LID/filter and full exhaust. Next step will be a cam.

Yeah, the 3200 will help roll-ons, but the gears/converter is really for launches. Your car should be in the low-mid 12s easily with those mods. Get some sticky tires and take it to the track when you're finished.

320-330 to the wheels is about right for those mods with an auto.

The gear and converter should get you about 8 tenths in the 1/4 mile on a sticky tire.

As for roll races you literally won't believe how hard your car will pull from any roll. Whenever you punch it, it jumps right into the peak torque band of the motor and pulls really hard or blows the tires off.
