I was considering doing a true dual setup on my 02 Z28 M6. I currently have a Borla system on there, w/ gutted cats. Would true duals give me a much better sound? Is it a good idea to have them reach all the way out the back? I am going to get a cam done soon, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this. Anybody w/ true duals like them, or hate them? I would most likely keep the stock exhaust manifolds, and cut the pipe after the cats. I need a little input on this before I get things chopped all apart. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys!

 

I like my exhaust setup, a bit to loud but well worth the hassle.
It really depands on what your looking for.

You may be a little bit too loud for a daily driver. I just sold my slp dual dual to guy with a cam and headers etc... Just a thought.

 

That is a very good point, but I dont think Im the most rational man in the world.... I live in a college town, and she only sees road time when Im bored, and feel like going for a cruise. Plus, Im one of those guys who loves a completely obnoxious cars, and when your passenger says that they dont like riding in itdue to the loudness. Dont ask me why! I like all of the engine noises, and primitive car sounds. I always say that when I get a blower, I want the noisiest, whiniest one available. I guess instead of looking all flashy, with giant wheels, and ummmm......bling bling, Id rather have mother hold their children a little bit closer when I fire her up! lol I want it to sound like the world is coming to an end as I roll down the street.....and I think my cam, and duals might make that happen.
