Im going to be getting some hooker long tube headers real soon and I was wondering if you can use the stock y-pipe? Also Im going to be putting an electric cutout on as well, so would a catback system even help me at all? Oh and Ill be gutting the cats or welding a new piece in place of them, if that helps with y-pipe question.

 

I don't think you can unless you cut off a bunch of it and re fit it and what not, if you do this you will have to cut out one of the cats, the driver side one, and maybe the passenger, I'm not to sure where that one is.
