stock heads, biggest cam?
The cam you are talking about using is puny in comparison to the ones that have come out in the last year-2 years, and you will not have any vacuum problems. Its likely that you won't need to do anything but drill the throttlebody.

This is the cam I like and plan to get.
98-02 LS1 CC-custom4 Up to 400RWHP is obtainable with this fast ramp cam with bolt ons, STOCK heads, and dynotuning in an M6 car Lift: .581/.581 Dur@.050: 224/224 LSA: 112 114
That BTW is off of speed incs web site as one of the cams they sell. The 224/224 is a great compromise cam IMO. With a good tune it's still emmissions passable, makes good power and maintains fairly decent street manners for daily drivers.
So I say go with a 224/224 114 and mix that cam with a good tune and 3800-4000 stall torque converter. If you want to keep good street manners then get a Yank SS3800 to compliment that cam. Just don't go less then a 3500 stall or you will regret it.
Good Luck

Should I choose one with less lift? or less Duration? And I still don't know how to match the stall convertor to the cam. Now I'm frustrated.
Help!
