Does anyone know what the gear ratio is for a stock Camaro Z28 A4? I'm thinking about upgrading as a future mod, but was just curious as to where I'm at now.

if it's the same as the lt1 cars,

if you can select 1st gear on your console with the shifter you have 3.23 (the perf ratio)

if not and you only have 2nd gear, you have 2.73's

 

Look for the RPO code on the driver's door:

GU2 - 2.73
GU5 - 3.23

Just look inside your drivers door like 2001nbmz28 said. Way up on top of the white sticker it will say GU2 or GU5.

If you see GU2 then when money allows swap out with a cheap set of 3.42's out of someones M6. If it says GU5 then consider keeping those gears and just adding a nice 3500 stall TC like the TCI SSF3500.
