stock 1998 A4 rwhp?

stock 1998 A4 rwhp?

hey i am new here and i was just kind of wondering wat do stock ls1's put to the ground. rwhp and rwtq. i am lookin at a 98z28 for $5800

98 auto....in good shape...280-300rwhp is about the range. not sure on torque.

I remember reading somewhere that it had 296 at the wheels. couldn't tell you the torque tho sorry.

I've seen 'em dyno as low as 265 and as high as 300 It's rare that you will see an A4 at 300 or higher stock.

as well as every dyno is different.

only way to truely compare is if all cars were on the same dyno, with the same air temp and humidity, and the same amount of heat soak.

dyno numbers are nice for keyboard drag racing.

That's what mine put to the wheels with a Magnaflow muffler. It made 296/314.

I need to get some new numbers with the new mods.

No offfense but if I saw any LS1 dyno 265 I would question either the car or the dyno for some flaws.

Normal is in the 275-290 rwhp range. A few may be in the 290-305 range but 275-290 is right around where they should be on a dynojet and in decent weather. 01/02 models will dyno slightly higher and those are more likely to see 300+.

If it's in good running condition, I would guess 300-305 rwhp
