starting a LS1 Trans am.... hasn't been started in 5 years! please help
Ok, so i'm going to buy a Trans am (1998) that has been sitting in a garage for five years.
I'm thinking, change oil, pull plugs, fog Chambers with fogging oil or maybe pb blaster. Drain gas out of tank, replace with fresh gas. Prime the oil pump (somehow ?)
feel free to add your advice. This car is going to be sold quick when I get it running and put a new hatch on it (glass is busted) - that said... I'm not going to be doing crazy things like pulling the intake, removing the fuel rail... Or getting all crazy with it. I'd like to own this car for a month or less. Probably will go on ebay. So... Whattya got?

Sounds like a good plan.
Take the wires off the plugs and crank it over after the oil change and cylinder fogging.
That will get some oil flowing to the top of the engine without damaging anything.
Then fire it up
