Cool Ssra

Yo guys, just spent some money that I do not have on the car. Bought a carbon fiber whisper lid and the SSRA. Instantly felt it on the expressway. The upper rpm range is great. I went from 60 to 110 faster than I had before. My Z is rockin' now, too bad I am not looking forward to the credit card bill

I don't see the Free Air Mod on your mod list in your sig. You really should consider doing it. I did it and it made such a big difference all by itself that even my girlfriend (who knows bupkis about performance) could feel it. I was amazed, what a great gain from a FREE mod.

Yeah, free ram air mod was done when installing the SSRA !

I spent around 400 bucks at a local speed shop.

I bought the smooth bellows too, but a member on another board said that it was a waste of money and that something similar is sold at home depot for 4 bucks. Might try taking it back or selling it. Anyone interested in a smooth bellows for 98-02 ls1 ??

the "FRA" is basically nulified when you install the SSRA...cause you have to do all the same cutting, THEN you install a ram air scoop...

the SSRA is 10x better than the fra...:/ just more expensive

the SSRA should be about $200, and the lid should be $100 or so depending on type.
