Specs to rebuild a 5.3...

Not sure if anything like this exists. I see the main stuff like the torques and everything linked in the sticky.

Off hand do you guys know of a source where I can find a basic overhaul manual, for tearing down and rebuilding a 5.3? Cylinder bore tolerances, etc... Something like a "table of limits"

Stuff is easily accessible on the aircraft recips I have worked with, never really heard of it in the automotive world but seems like they should exist. Even willing to pay for it from a publisher.

The AERA publishes all this information, we have a program called PROsis which has all of the tolerances and specifications for stock rebuilds. For an overhaul manual you would have to look for a factory service manual from the dealer or maybe ebay.
