One that ignites the fuel.

A plug is a plug is a plug. NGK is just the trendy brand at the moment.

Platinum plugs will last the longest, but it does not provide as strong of a spark as copper. Also, the +4s are just a gimmick, the spark winds up just going to the same electrode every time. If you don't get NGKs, AC Delcos would be my next choice.

I concur, except that irridium lasts longer than plats, but there again..it doesn't conduct as well. Its a trade off, but since our ignition systems are designed w/platinum plugs in mind I'll personally stick with them. That and I don't care to change plugs like I'd need to with copper.

All those multi electrode plugs are gimicks to get you to pay more. If they make a difference, you have problems else where or its the same diff a regular electrode plug would have made.

The first time is hard, but after you figure out that back passenger cyclinder it will be easier the next time. I can change my plugs in less than 30 min.

I would recommend the NGK Tr-55's. They are a copper plug, so you will have to change them more often (every 20-25K miles), but they work great and are cheap.

I'd also recommend tr55's.

Stay away from Iridium unless you like paying more $ for no reason. If so, PM me and Ill give you my address.
