So is a lid worth the 80 or so dollars?

Since a couple people here are just getting started on modifying their cars, I think this is an appropriate time to say this:

The Flowmaster catback for our cars has been demonstrated to make less power than the stock one.

Just in case anyone was thinking about a Flowmaster.

I have a Granatelli lid and i think it helped out, but the only thing about these is they dont fit properly, such as the plastic clips on the back end of the lid dont slide into place where the factory one did, u just have to leave it on top and clamp it down.

Your just not trying hard enough. And yes I'm serious. My Texas speed 90mm lid is very difficult to get the tabs engaged but it can be done and when it's properly installed it will keep the air flowing thru the filter like it's supposed to. The way that you have yours installed your sucking who knows how much dirt into your motor
