SLP suspension...whats does it come with?
The Level 1 comes with:
1LE Lower control arms (are better than stock)
Stock panhard bar (is supposed to be 1LE but mine had the same part number as my stock PHB)
32 mm "1LE" front sway bar
SLP Eibach springs
SLP Bilstein shocks

I purchased and installed the SLP level one kit....
LCA are stock with different bushings
Same thing with the panhard bar
SLP Eibach springs
SLP Bilstein shocks
1LE Sway bar
If I had to do it again, I would get the regular Eibach springs for like a 1" drop, get Eibach shocks, aftermarket front sway bar, and call myself even. Oh well. The level 1 does handle a ton better then stock, so I am happy.

I have owned a number of F-bodies, and every style of LCA sold (not brand, but style) from boxed and tubular poly/poly, to aluminum tubular LCA's with double rod ends, and 1LE LCA's. First I had a real '98 1LE Z28 that I autocrossed and road raced a lot in a stock class. With the stock 1LE suspension, I was able to hang with friends with modded F-bodies on a road course. With the base Level 1 suspension on my T/A, it faster on the autox course and almost as fast on a road course. Either way both cars had 1LE LCA's. The T/A ran mid 12's in the 1/4 on street tires with no wheel hop. The T/A was very competitive with the 1LE LCA's and stock PHB. I only switched to the LG aluminum LCA's and PHB because after 20K miles and some racing, the rubber bushings in the 1LE parts were deflecting enough under extreme cornering loads on race tires for the tire to rub on the inside. My lap times did not go down when I switched to the LG parts either.
The 1LE LCA's are fine for any street car in the 12's. Tubular or boxed LCA's may become necessary on slicks or in a race situation that has turns and very sticky tires.
Remember, just because an aftermarket part makes a car feel different does not mean it is better. Most of the people that give opinions on the Internet have never used the parts they judge, and if they have it is unlikely they have compared them to other parts. You can't always believe magazines either as they cater to the folks that pay the bills (advertisers).
That being said. there are 2 Level 1 kits. 70001 comes with 1LE LCA's.
70001A comes with stock type LCA's with poly bushings and a plate welded to the bottom to "box" them.
I will NEVER again run poly/poly LCA's or PHB. Poly binds up and acts like a larger rear sway bar, and needs frequent lubrication to keep from being noisy.
The Level 1 is a GREAT deal on a GREAT suspension for a street / light drag car. The shocks are fine for street or drag use, but are a little soft for road racing.
Mike at Stealth Performance usually has a killer deal on the Level 1 (better price than SLP).

Thanks Ken.
Let me add that if you are going to stress your suspension harder than I did in the video linked below, you might want to consider better LCA's than the 1LE parts. This was shot from my old '98 which had a factory stock 1LE suspension with a fair amount of track time at this point and sticky R compound tires:

Yes, those are real Porsche's
Kinda funny what happens to the 911 when he tries to outrun me though the corner
