I am puting on my slp lid plus and doing my free ram air tommorrow. Anybody know what kind of hp gains to expect from that combo plus a k&n air fliter.

 

I have an SLP lid and K&N air filter. On the dyno I picked up 11rwhp with the SLP lid and K&N. I then put on the Super Sucker Ram Air(SSRA) and picked up 13 more rwhp. We used a big construction fan in front of the SSRA to simulate airstream.

2002 SS:
stock=299.9rwhp
slp lid and k&n= 311.9rwhp
slp lid/k&n/SSRA=324rwhp

A lid, FRA, and a muffler are must do's for our cars!
The cold air kits are good too, but they do scare some folks because of rare, but true, cases of hydrolock... (instant LS1 death!)
Anyway, the 3 mods above and a set of SFCs should be the top of the mod list for any F-car.
