Post slp lid

where is the cheapest place to order an SLP air lid? Or do they all run around $99.00? I know dumb cheap sounding question, but every dollar counts! Also, K&N or holley power shot, which is better? Anyone run an Amsoil air filer, or oil?

All the lids are about the same, but people complain the most about the clear MTI lids. I have a black MTI lid and have no complaints.

Air filter? Holley PowerShot. It fits better, it's better built, and it doesn't require the stupid gasket like the K&N.

Amsoil? I've never run it, but people that use it swear by it. I run Mobil-1. I have run Castrol Syntec if they were out of Mobile-1 at the time.

Nice ride !

Forget the lid, get the K&N FIPK kit, it allows a much larger volume of air in compared to just a lid and drop in filter. Plus it comes with new tubes and bellows, that really smooth out the air flow and allows it to be much more free flowing. People always want to get a lid and drop in, but everybody i know with f-body's have seen much better results with the K&N kit.

-Its up to you, but i would go with the kit!
