SLP Headers & Exhaust system
SLP Headers & Exhaust system
I am going to go with This stainless headers and Loudmouth system(I like a bit of noise)also I dont want cats so is there any reason I have to have them?Or can I just weld in 2 three inch stainless pipes instead? Also I dont live in the states so I dont have to worry about emission laws so does anyone think I should do the egr valve & air pump delete and is that a good mod?

Re: SLP Headers & Exhaust system
If u get an off-road y-pipe it should fit up to the headers minus the cats without any extra fabricating. I would take off the EGR and AIR, but it will throw engine codes. So you might want to get a tune to turn off the ses light.
Re: SLP Headers & Exhaust system
Ya just get the set of headers and y-pipe without cats. Also if you remove AIR and EGR you will throw a code so you will need a tune or just have to live with the SES light on till you do.
Re: SLP Headers & Exhaust system
SLP headers are pretty well known for having the WORST ground clearance.
there are much better choices in stainless headers. look into QTP or Kooks

Just heads up...long tubes, no cats and a SLP Loudmouth is going to be a lot louder that what you might like if you only like it "a little loud". It's going to be downright obnoxious
