with the slp headers what is the difference between the 98-99 00 and the 01-02? I mean I know the EGR and stuff but is there anything else and could you put 00 headers on a 99?

from what i've learned...

98-99 have EGR and AIR fittings

00-02 the AIR fittings were at a different angle

01-02 the EGR is eliminated

i beleive they sell the 00 with the 01-02 because it's easier just to block off the EGR connector if installing it on a 01-02 than to make 3 separate sets of headers for 98-99 specific, 00 specific and then 01-02 specific.

some get around this by making you buy the EGR tube separate for installation of 01-02 headers on a 00.

00 headers can go on a 99, you can either eliminate the AIR and EGR or a mix and match of that.
