slp cai, rubber seal install ???, help!!

I am installing a SLP CAI package (part no. 21033) on my CAMARO LS1 (2000)
This kit comes with a long rubber seal (not the foam seals). In the instructions mentions to put this "underside of filter base asssembly". but the
pictures do not show this.

Does someone that have installed this kit, know where is this rubber seal installed.? The SPL instructions do not show where to put this. beside this
instructions are a very very bad copies and a P.O.S.

Please help, thanks,

fiat20.

At the front of the lid....where the metal clamps are....there's a gap between the radiator support crossmember and the lower portion of the airbox. Prior to the kit being installed, this is where the air came in from. Now, you're pulling air from underneath the car. The rubber strip is designed to block the original opening to prevent warm engine bay air from entering the intake. So, it's installed tape side down right onto the metal crossmember. Try to cut it so it fills the entire gap.

The metal clamps are hanging in front of the gap in this picture:
