Hi guys. I am looking to buy a forged LS1 block. I was looking at those SLP 402 Ls1 ...Any has any feedback on those ? If not ..what would be the place to get some good forged short blocks from. I am lookin for quality blocks here. Something that will handle very radical camshaft with no problems.

How very radical are you wanting to get? SLP blocks come with factory ls1 bearings... you'll want to upgrade those before you go TOO radical.

 

Im sure theres way better/cheaper options out there then slp...slps good for exhaust stuff thats about it

How radical well... here it is:
duration int238 /exhst244 lift.605/.612 LSA110
This cam and SLP 402 high compression 11.3:1 Block.
Stock heads..fully ported.
Pushrods,dual springs,lifters,double roller timing chain,biger injectors.
4200 stall. This car better run 10s man.
