I usually am not a cheap guy but, do these things really have that noticable of a spot on them?

Any input will help!

SLP sells "blemished" lids. They are about $20 cheaper, and have a small stamping imperfection on the top. The imperfection really dosen't look that bad by their pics, but who knows. I'd wait till someone who has one speaks up.

I have one and no its not that big of a deal. As long as your car isnt a show car, I wouldnt worry about it. Even with my hood open you have to really look for it to find it. Even then its like "oh well... theres a dot on my lid" The dot is about the size of a dime.

I have one. Good luck trying to spot it. It isn't like a perfect lid doesn't have some imperfections anyway. Works great, it was cheap, and unless you tell someone (and point it out) they would never know.

I bought one of the blemish lids for $75 from SLP, you can barley see the mark, definatly worth saving $20-25
