slp blackwing lid
SS Ram Air mod (SSRA) Go to this link http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm click on "install documents" on the left.
Actually that's the link for the free Ram Air (also good free mod) you'll need this for the SSRA http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SSRA-...#ht_763wt_1165
I thought the purpose of the the SLP lid was to make the intake tract no soo restrictive? thats a pretty narrow path for air to go through before it gets to the throttle body, oh and i think it also deletes the intake muffler right?
You are correct on both counts but any and all lids do the same thing.
The free ram air, SLP cold air scoop, whisper ram air, Fast Toys ram air, Super Sucker Ram Air, etal are in addition to a lid. They pick up air from the under the front of the car and feed it to the bottom of the air box.
so if i do the free ram air mod to my stock box, will i have to do it again if i buy the SSRA or any of the other air boxes also? or if i buy the ssra or slp setup, will i just be wasting my time if i do the free ram air? will they work together i guess is what im asking.

The slot that you cut to do the free ram air mod is the same slot that you cut for the manufactured ram air kits. So do the FRA then add an SSRA when you're ready.
