Should i buy this SS?

i currently drive a 2000 z28 a4, and now i decided to get a manual camaro. i saw a 2000 SS m6 with 56k miles for $18,000.
if i negotiate he will probably go down afew bills. the SS has a clean title. i paid $14,300 for my z28 4 months back, it had 60k miles, now it has 66k. so what do u guys thing, should i trade the z28 for the SuperSport? ill be paying around $7,000 more.

I paid $17,000 for my 1999 SS with 32,000 miles. I would try to get that car for $14,000.

However you do it I would say get it.

You will enjoy the M6 a lot more IMO. Do all the bolt ons and it really wakes it up.
Suspension feels good too.

If it is in good condition I'd pay 15.5-16K max.

if it is really worth the extra $7,000 SOULY for the 6 speed then do it.

however, u can swap in a M6 for less than $3,000

If you wanted an SS with a 6 speed why did you get the one you have? If you just have the 'new car bug' don't get it. I know what the bug feels like. I've had it many many times. Acted on it many times too. The price is fair. I know of a pristine 2000 SS Convertible with 50,000 miles down here in Orlando for $18,000 though.

If it's what you want, and it will make you happy, and you'll regret it if you don't get it, and you can afford it, and you won't get tired of it in a year... go for it. You only live once. Do it without regrets.

I've passed up so many cheap Z28's the past couple months, but I knew if I got one, it would be fun for a couple weeks, but I knew i'd always regret not getting the SS. So I think I made the right choice with the 99 I found. Everything I want, M6, t-tops, leather, asr, etc... 40K miles, slp lid, cold air, and magnaflow exhaust (ran 13.2@108 with a slipping clutch). $16,500. Should be getting it next Saturday. I can't wait hehe

My point is like what 2002Z28SSConv said... don't just do it to get a new car. Do it because you want a SS with a 6 speed. If that's what was in your heart, then go for it. Although, I found an 02 Z with 18K miles, M6, ground effects, t-tops, leather, asr, blah blah blah, for 16K in SLC, Utah which looks pretty nice... but it's just not a SS lol
