Question Shift kit?

I've got a 1998 Z28 (A4) with the usual bolt-ons, exhaust, 3.42's (from the stock 2.73's), and the Hypertech Power Programmer. I'm ordering a Vigilante Torque Converter (3200 stall) sometime this upcoming week. My question is, even with being able to adjust the shift firmness with the HPP3, will I need an aftermarket shift kit? (I know I'll need to bump the shift firmness back down to stock before I install the shift kit...if I do in fact get the shift kit).

first of all, you dont NEED a shift kit with a converter, im a prime example of that. if you wnat one, go with the TransGo shift kit...its about the best there is. im contemplatiing getting one now as well for the feel of a firmer shift.
