How you get them for half the price? I looked at the ones on that web site and they are like $180. BMR's are only $130 for tubular...

I have the weld-in subframes Tom Byrne sells. Why did I buy them? Well because I got them when they first came out for like $100 in a GP.

I'd only get boltons if I didn't know anyone I trusted to weld them in.

I was going on the philosophy of welds are stronger and longer lasting than bolts.

Remember parts for these cars are overly expensive. So do it right the first time. Because you don't know if the direction you want to take your car will change down the road.

I always prefer weld in over bolt in's. It was an easy decision for us to have ours fabricated as weld ins.

I'll go the bolt-on route when the time comes. I don't want anyone else working on my car if I don't have to.

These threads always crack me up. The only people who talk about bolt-on loosening or streching holes are the guys who have weld-ons. I've never heard from someone first-hand that they had these problems. Now, hearing first-hand accounts of botched welding jobs on these things - that's another story.

Unfortunately, I have. However, I have seen botched up weld jobs too.

The LG Motorsports connectors tuck up tighter than any I have seen, but I have not seen them all. I have Wolfe weld in connectors and they tuck up pretty tight and the price was right ($160 installed at AMS). I had MAC connectors on my old '97 Z28. They worked fine but hung down a little more than necessary.

A lot of customers have told me ours tuck up very nicely. All of them had springs and were very happy. I have a lowered SS and never had any problems with the SFCs hanging too low.

I love my weld on SLP's. Extremely beefy. If I had to do it all over again I would be the SLP bolt ons and have them welded on since they are powdercoated.
