Same thing happened to my car.

I just had mine replaced last Tuesday under warranty. Did your exhaust smell like rotten eggs/sulfur?

After you have it installed, it'll smell and make crackling and popping noises for a while.

nope.. no rotten egg smell. If I had that, I would of known and been able to get them to do it in 1 day..

I got the car back today. It does have a hint of that new car smell now. thats ok.. the work order/receipt stated that the cat had corrosion and had fallen apart inside. interesting..

but alas.. now I need rotors too! so I am off hunting new rotors as they are not covered under warranty..
Debating powerslots but I dont like the thought of more pads more often cause of the slots...

Lightbulb Most of the problems I have heard have been w/ the '00 models.

A bud's '00 SS had his driver's side go bad, and I believe his old lady's '00 WS.6 had one go south, too.

I've got 53K on the SS , and no cat probs so far, knock on wood.
