SES light after Shaner S2 install....

SES light after Shaner S2 install....

did everything right....had the negative battery terminal unplugged to clear codes during install....everything was fine at first....after a few hours and the car sitting, fired it up and the SES light is on....tried clearing the codes by disconnecting the negative again, but it still has the SES light on....any suggestions??? the car runs and sounds great but the light is bugging me!!!

Without a scan tool to determine the code, we're really shooting in the dark. Try reseating the IAT, IAC, TPS & MAF sensors and/or checking the Eng. Sensor fuse to see if it's blown.

Did you plug everything back in?

I forgot the hose to the valve cover and it ran a little funny.

yes everything was plugged back in....shaner mentioned something to me on the phone about a o-ring gasket on the inside of the IAT sensor i believe he said....i dont remember seeing an o-ring gasket when i switched the sensors over....anyway, a friend of mine is gonna scan it in the morning tomorrow to see what code its pulling....but yea, everything is plugged in just cant get this stupid thing to go away!!!

well, turns out the code was MAF voltage low so i assume the SLP maf i installed a few wks. ago is bad....ill have to send it back and get a new one....it is the right one for the car and all but it seems like its bad....i took the slp unit off and ran the stock meter and no ses light at all.....turns out that is the problem i guess...anybody had trouble w/bad meters?
