Ses
Ses
My SES light came on recently out of no where, and i assumed it might have been becuase im like 500 miles over due on an oil change, so i checked it and it was a little low, so i added some. After i added some it went off for the rest of the day, but came back on the next day. I know it could be a bunch of different things, but what should i check to find out the problem before sending it to a mechanic? Thanks

Everyone,
If I've said it once I've said it a hundred times, You can't guess at what causes an SES light to come on. There are well over a dozen sensors in the system, many sub systems monitored, and hundreds of conditions that will cause the light to come on.
Get the computer diagnostics read and then fix it or ask for help in fixing it.
