Could be something as simple as not tightening the gas cap enough ( three clicks ) to who knows what, take it to AutoZone and they will check for free.

I had similar trouble before. When light comes on does it run real rough?Any stalling.I had to replace all my O2 censors before I could get rid of problem. After that it has been just fine.

i agree, also after each oil change make sure to reset the computer, maybe the guy who sold you the car missed that part.

As already stated, it could be almost anything. If the car is still running fine then it's probably not a big deal, just get it scanned whenever you get a chance.

You don't need to reset the PCM after an oil change. You just need to reset the "oil odometer" so the change oil light doesn't come on too soon.

your owners manual will give you the proceedure for reseting the service light if it is on because of the oil change. YOu have to hold the odometer reset while the key is in the run position for twelve seconds or until it flashes on and off.
