Service engine light off with torque converter???

Got my torque converter in friday and sunday my service engine soon light thats been on for 9 months went off and has stayed off so far, ive had the code read and it showed fuel pressure not right so i bought a new cap (recommended by auto zone) they reset it and the light was on before i used a quarter tank of gas! ive ran 2 full tanks out sice its been off (road trip) i was wondering if somehow that the torque converter could have effected it????

Probably not. I had the same issue with my '99 at one point. The dealer said to make sure you tighten the gas cap down about 3 clicks or so to make sure it's on there right. Once I got into the routine of doing that, I never had an SES light for that again. It's very possible your old gas cap wasn't sealing properly and it just took a few miles for everything to settle in. I wouldn't worry unless it comes back...
