RWHP gains from this exhaust??

Friday Iam having a custom 3 inch catback with a 4inch bullet (dynomax) comming off the Y pipe and either...

A) exiting in front of the rear passenger wheel

B) over the axle (not mandrel bent) and out the back with a onesy on the passenger side

Next friday me and a buddy will install mac mid length headers with the mac off road Y pipe.

with the headers and exhaust i will say you'll add close to 20 rwhp maybe alittle more. no exact way to know.

You might as well dump the stock mandrel bent 2.75" pipes for 2.5" pipes if you don't mandrel bend the 3" pipe. That's how bad non-mandrel pipe restricts.
Jegs carries individual I-pipe parts in 3" mandrel bent for our cars if that .25" means alot to you. They are DynoMax cat-back parts that they can special order. From what I understand it is about $50.
Also, that bullet is going to be very raspy rather than deep sounding with an ORP. The best bullet for what you are contemplating is a DynoMax part #24219 long bullet.
Good luck
Dave

ratio411,
I got the guy to put the bullet on the end of the y-pipe and on the end of the bullet use a 45 degree mandrel bent pipe towards the passenger rear tire.

It sounds great for now! When I add the headers and ORP Iam sure I will end up with a dr. gas X with another bullet to make the true dual exhaust! To keep it on the hush hush side!

Thanks for your response, I got the idea from you in the first place with my own "little" twist.

Thanks again,

Brian
