rough runing LS1

My car is not running right it has a rough Idle and seems to stall(not die out just seems to be struggleing for fuel) when I punch it. When it is idling it sputters and jumps between 300rpms and about 700 where it normally idles at. I change to fuel filter to try and fix the problem but that didn't work. I can't find a fuel regulator anywhere even at the dealer ship. Do LS1's even have one? What else could the problem be. It is also seting off the SES light. Any help will definately help.

Wow, The dealer can't order you a new regulator. that's strange. I would run a scaner to see what code pops up. Like robvas said. That way you will have a better shot at hunting down the problem rather than spending money on stuff that isn't doing any good. Good luck to ya.

Try taking off the EGR valve. Its easy, right on top of the engine, 2 10mm bolts. If its black and soot filled (like mine was ) on the inside, clean it out or just get a new one. I had the same problem, no worries now. Good luck.

Regulator is in the tank. I'd check fuel pressure before jumping the gun.
It really sounds to me like you have a bad, burnt, loose plug wire.

And as stated get that code checked it could lead you right to the problem.
