rough idle

well on my 02, i've noticed its starting to have a bit or a rough idle and ocationally when i let go of the key after starting up, it doesnt follow through with starting all the way... so i'm thinking probably it needs new plugs and wires, although i just did those not too long ago... but for the most part the vehicle is all stock...

what does anyone think is the problem...

oh yea it also has that piston slap any cure for that?

Re: rough idle

Try some Seafoam.

Most LS1s have piston slap.

Re: rough idle

It might help the idle.

Not much you can do with the piston slap. As long as you don't hammer on it before it warms up, it shouldn't cause any problems.
