Tsp Rumbler!!

Installed it yesterday and DAM is it loud as hell!!!!!!!!!!! I love it right now, but it is really loud and will have to learn pedal discipline now. Other than that the system was easy to install, tips are nice. Going to order quad tips for it, I'm sure they will look better them the magnaflows on right now. No complaints here with TSP Rumbler.

Re: Tsp Rumbler!!

the thing i forgot to mention earlier is; i had removed all the z28 badges off the car, so it really confuses people to see a "V6" camaro with a cammed v8 loud rumble

Re: Tsp Rumbler!!

similar volumn but the rumbler is a cleaner sound.

the LM only has a resonator...the Rumbler has a bullet.

i have not heard the new version of the LM though.

Re: Tsp Rumbler!!

I LOVE my Rumbler. Sounds amazing, and isn't loud enough to bother me at most speeds.

I also love the fact that I got the catback with hooker tips installed for less than some people pay for just tips. I also live in CA, and it only rains about 5 months out of the year, and I never see salt, so I don't have to worry about rust.

Hi there, mine's a stock 1998 z28, and I think it sounds pretty quiet, only slightly more than a luxury limo! I need some advice on how I can make it rumble but not too much just so it's noticeable. Any add-ons, modifications etc...? But not too expensive. I've heard some people say it can be done at the cost of the engine's health which I certainly dont prefer. Thanks for your thoughts....

without knowing what you done so far, i dont know what to suggest. i dont have cats, so that helps, mac mid headers, and orp. i can drown out most harleys, unless they have no baffles either. as long as im not trying to be a idiot, the cops dont bother me at all. ive actually got complimented by a local police officer

Re: Tsp Rumbler!!

I second that! Nothing but smiles from the locals and others places aswell. So far the cops haven't given any beef about the racket, just as long as I keep it below 2grand, . It's hard to do, but it sounds very agressive. I am still running stock manifolds with a Bassani ORY pipe not cats. You could try this set up or if you want to retain you cats try the borla y-pipe, it goes on after the cats replacing the flat factory y-pipe. Those are probably the cheapest ways to go, next would be headers. I do notice around 2300-2800 the exhaust is very raspy! Does anyone else have this happening, just curious?

How do you like your PRC heads and TSP cam, myslow? I am looking at a set up from them and just looking for some feed back. Numbers by any chance?

At 5500 RPM in an LS1 powered car, no ones talking anyway, so what's it matter?

i love it, just get a steep gear to go with it, 3.73 for a4 or 4.10 or 3.73 for the m6, i had 2.73's and it just bogged off the line. one i got thte gears the car really woke up. its still not at full potential, since i still have the stock tc. i do wish i went with a little more radical cam tho.
