Rollmaster timing chain
Rollmaster timing chain
I am looking at the rollmater adjustable double roller timing chain but it says when used with an asp crank pulley modifications are required to be done to the pulley has anyone used these timing chains. Here is the link for the timing chain

its about half way down the page.

the double roller will need to use spacers to clear the oil pump - they come with the kit. if you have an older style ASP pulley, you will need to have it machined to seat properly on the crank snout.

i don't think you would have any issues, but you should call who you are ordering from or ASP to double check.
this is a picture of the machining that is/was required
as long as you're not going to be making insane power and/or spinning your car over 6500rpms all the time, you'd be a good candidate for an LS2 timing chain. that's what i'm running in my car making 420rwhp. I rarely take it up to it, but my rev limiter is set at 6800rpms.

LS2 is a thicker/stronger chain than the LS1 but it fits on the LS1 sprockets just fine. More than likely who ever you get your cam from will have the advance ground into the cam so you just install it straight up.
