Replacing rod bolts, need rods reconditioned?

I'm looking to replace rod bolts on a 2000 LS1 with some ARP bolts. I was reading something from LPE that states that the rods from this engine do not need to be reconditioned when being replaced. FWIW I'm looking at replacing only 1 stock rod with another stock peice and adding ARP bolts. can anyone shed any light on this?

thanks,

Bill

Shouldn't be a problem at all.
