I was wondering if anyone basically could reccomend a setup and a good cam that they have purchased for their LS1. I really don't know too much about cams for the LS1, but I was interested in maybe a good package someone can tell me about that they've purchased. Im looking for a cam setup with a fairly choppy idle that would obviously need programming for my A4.

i would call up a place like combination motorsports or thunderracing and describe to them what you want, hp goals, drivability goals etc...and see what they reccomend

You can check thunderracing.com and get dyno graphs from a few different cams they sell. They list mods and show before and after charts so you can get an idea of how much power you will see.
