Rear Wheel Noise

On my '99 SS, whenever I accelerate to high speeds 50+ mph .... i always get this kinda of "flapping" noise at the passenger rear wheel .... what could this be???I dunno if im jumping the gun on anything, but would like to head it off before it gets any worse. Any help is greatly appreciated

Your neighbor missing a cat?

Make sure the sides of the bumpers are securely fastened to the body. They might be flapping around.

I wish it was a cat, if it gets into the garbage one more damn time .... but bad shock or anything like that , which could cause the wheel to hop around? Now that I think about it... the car's rear end gets a little squirrely whenever i hit a bumb on the over pass witha gradual right curve.

A seperated tire could cause wheel to hop around its sometimes minor and sometimes violent.Yeah a bad shock could also especially when a bump is involved and while driving... a really bad one will make kinda a flap flap sound as it hops continually.I've had that on other cars of mine and witnessed it on other cars on freeway. A loose lca maybe?
You have to get in there a poke around a bit, look for welt on tire.Do the compression test on the shocks.Jack up and do some wiggling.
