rear end questions...

how often do you guys change your diff lube? i have 62k, and lube is original as far as i know.

is there a drain plug on our diffs? or do i just have to pull the cover off to drain it? all i can see is the fill plug.

if i do have to pull the cover off, will there be any problems reusing the same gasket, or should i use a new gasket, or RTV?

BTW, i'm the original owner, and car has not been driven hard at all. never been to the strip.

thanks in advance...

haynes manual says to change diff fluid every 30000miles or 2 years whatever comes first. there is no drain plug on the axle, you cant re use the gasket if there even is one. i use rtv sealant on my truck because they dont make gaskets for it so it should be fine for our cars.
