Real Dyno #'s for SLP

Does anyone have any real hp or torque #'s (before and after) for the loudmouth exhaust or the entire SLP 350hp performance pac? My concern is really with the torque numbers. Is it true that the reduced backpressure can create a loss of torque? More hp, less torque- giving with one hand and taking with the other?

Not so sure. I had a Borla (straight pipe on passenger tailpipe) and an off-road y-pipe setup and still managed to put down 346 ft/lbs of torque. If anything, it'll move the torque curve.

It does in deed effect the curve more than the overall torque. It will lessen your low RPM TQ... W/ cats will give you the low RPM TQ...Wouldn't worry about it untill it's time for the headers...You'll be fine for now...

W/ LT's and a catted Y, fine IMO. But the LT's and a ORY, kind of lowers the low RPM TQ curve..

There's 30 pages on this board with people arguing over backpressure...and it gets pretty in depth...But you would not lose torque with that setup. The people who worry about losing some low end torque are people who run open longtubes with no cats and open cutouts. You would probly gain a few horsepower and gain a little less torque. 2 cents...

Not sure if this helps ya or not...

But with a lid, SLP Y-pipe, and the Loudmouth, I put down 322/338...If you're concerned about losing torque with the loudmouth, don't be.

Re: Real Dyno #'s for SLP

I sent SLP an e-mail requesting a dyno sheet for the performance pac. They sent me a stage 3(400hp) sheet, not the stage 1(350hp). Anyway, here it is.
slp stage 3 dyno
