Going to switch to a lid or ws6 intake system for the LT1 style CAI. Wondering about fast toys and slp's ram air mods. Are they any good? Anyone use them?

Also if you have any thoughts on mounting a ls1 style CAI/lid on a LT car please post.

Wanting to figure out what parts i need here. Dont want to buy anything untill i figure out what will be best. Thanks

 

i have the SLP unit on my 02 Z28 and it works very well, but if im not mistakin you would have to do a 98+ front end swap to get that intake.

I want to ask the LS guys about a few products for them. Just because i have a LT and will be using LS products doesnt make it a LT question.

DOes anyone run a SSRA or slp FLOW PAC? You guys have to have some of this stuff?

 

Lots of us run SSRA, myself included. But we run them on LS1 cars so we have no info on how to make them work on an LT1 car.

Try a new thread in the f-body general tech section. Maybe you can find someone there who's done this.
