Post Question about A4 shift kits

Anyone that has one, or been in an F-body equipped with one, I am wondering how "firm" is the shifting?
These shift kits advertise shifts that are very firm, so my question is: is the shifting firm even if you are easy on the throttle? I don't want my daily driver jerking me around if I'm just cruising.
So are these kits smooth if you're easy on the throttle, and then really firm up when you put the pedal through the floor?

And, who makes the best? Average price?

The most p[opular is the Trans-go shift kit. The price is $110, but it costs $200 to get installed. It has 3 different settings Hard, harder, And hardest. I've only driven in a car with the hardest and it shifts HARD! Even when cruising around.
